One of the Francis Crick Institute’s strategic priorities is to engage and inspire the public through its education, public and community engagement programmes, backed by a body of active research scientists who have the skills, desire and opportunity to engage people in their work.
Building on successful initiatives already in place, the Public Engagement Officer (Exhibitions) will support the successful delivery of the Crick’s exhibition programme by assisting with the project management of temporary and permanent exhibitions from inception to conclusion. Audiences identified for the Crick’s exhibitions programme include people living, working and studying locally and the scientifically-interested, nonspecialist general public.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced museum or gallery professional to help deliver the public engagement programme at this new and world class scientific research institute. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, well organised, and creative with a passion for engaging a wide range of audiences with biomedical science.
This is a full-time, permanent position on Crick Terms and Conditions of Employment.
