The public engagement team deliver a programme of activities to inspire and enthuse the public about science, including book prizes, festivals, our flagship Summer Science Exhibition, and regional and cultural events. Alongside this, the team plays an important role advocating public engagement as an integral part of research culture, and run training and grant schemes to support researchers taking part in public engagement.
The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Public Engagement Manager and will work closely with fellow members of the marketing and public engagement team, and across multiple internal and external partners to develop and build their projects.

Hours: 35 hours per week (including some evening and weekend working)
Pay band: C
Salary: £29,376 per annum, plus unconsolidated allowance of £2,000 per annum
