
Anne Boddington (she/her)
Anne is professor emerita of Design Innovation and has held executive and senior leadership roles in Higher Education as Dean of Arts & Humanities (Brighton), PVC Research, Business & Innovation (Kingston) and PVC Research and Knowledge Exchange (Middlesex).
She chaired the REF2021, Sub Panel (32) for Art & Design: History, Practice & Theory and equivalent exercises in Estonia and Portugal over many years and is driven by how we shape inquisitive cultures through governance, peer to peer processes and what it means to research, learn, evaluate and assess.
She is fortunate to have spent many years working internationally and understands different ways of achieving the same objectives across cultures. As an independent consultant she now works as a strategic advisor and mentor with a commitment to promoting and realising equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion in practice, developing effective governance, supporting career development and reducing excess bureaucracy through innovation, organisational design and integrity.
