Community Engaged Learning Manager at University of York
Sarah is a Community Engaged Learning (CEL) Manager at the University of York, aiming to drive closer engagement between Universities and Communities through teaching and learning. She has worked in Student Community Engagement for 14 years, managing volunteering and co-curricular projects. Since 2022, the main driver of her role has been to embed CEL in the curriculum at scale.
She also holds an NCCPE Engage Fellowship, alongside her colleague Kate Harper. The goal of the fellowship is to create an evaluation tool which explores the value added to communities through CEL.
She also part of the national Community Engaged Learning (CEL)/ Service Learning Network committee.
