"As a world-leading university-conservatoire in theatre and the performing arts, public engagement is a key driver in how we research, teach and produce.  It is key to our external industry partnerships and shapes our dialogue with collaborators, stakeholders and audiences. Signing this manifesto signals our ongoing commitment to this dialogue, and to the exploration of best practice in ensuring that our research is disseminated across the broadest possible audiences. Public engagement is central to the ways in which we realise our vision - to shape theatre, performance and the creative practitioners of tomorrow."
