Review of the 2014 REF impact case studies

A review of REF 2014 case studies and environment statements. 

This extensive review revealed that nearly 50% of the submitted case studies featured some engagement with the public. It developed a range of frameworks to describe the different ways in which public engagement featured. 

It also highlighted the characteristics of excellent case studies featuring public engagement.
