Review of the REF 2021 Impact Case studies

In 2022 we repeated our analysis of the 2014 case studies, to map the ways in which public engagement featured across the 6000+ impact case studies.

We reported a small increase in the number of case studies featuring public engagement, and explored trends in how PE featured across the 30+ discipline panels
