Introducing the first NCCPE Engage Fellows!
After launching our brand new Fellowship scheme earlier this year, we're delighted to introduce our new Engage Fellows. We are excited to be working with these four exceptional people and to see their projects flourish over the coming year.
The Engage Fellowships scheme was created to provide an opportunity for public engagement professionals to enhance their careers, while contributing significant value to the embedding of engagement into the HE sector. It is something that NCCPE had considered for a while but we believe now is a time for it to do something of real value for the sector, and all of us working to promote engaged practices.
We received over 40 thought provoking applications, interviewed 5 candidates and have awarded 3 Fellowships for the 2024 cohort. These initial fellowships will set the foundations for what comes next. We hope the scheme goes from strength to strength and are committed to learning through these early stages to inform a second round.
We see the three Fellowship projects as an opportunity for all of us to learn and our Fellows are committed to documenting their journey and sharing their outputs. Keep an eye on our Learn from Others section of the website in coming months!
