A partnership to support and highlight Scottish engagement practice
NCCPE are excited to announce a new partnership with ScotPEN, the Scottish Public Engagement Network. Through this partnership we will strengthen the links between our work, Scottish Universities and the Scottish public engagement sector as a whole.
ScotPEN is an inclusive network of people involved in public engagement in Scotland. They provide peer support, collaborative opportunities and a voice to shape and share good engagement practice. NCCPE and ScotPEN have worked closely together since their inception, and this partnership formalises that link to amplify and mobilise the great practice happening across Scotland.
This partnership will support NCCPE work to align with the specific challenges, opportunities and agendas of the Scottish HEI funding and policy sector, ensuring that learning is shared between Scottish HEIs and the rest of the UK. Together, we will also seek to increase the regional connections in Scotland, between Scottish HEIs and other critical institutions, networks, influencers, and enablers.
At the February PEP Network event we will be joined by members of ScotPEN to explore outcomes of the Wellcome Engagement Award (SWEA) - devolved Wellcome Trust funding support for public engagement with research in Scotland that was administered by ScotPEN. PEP Network members can sign up now!
